Fast poem

Jujamist is fast poems, lazy poems
But why can't we be lazy, homes?

They dont say homes anymore, it didn't last.
Jujamist might not last, but it helps the time pass

Suck it, get off, piece of...bitch ass mofo
All kinds of slang that come and go

Was Robert Frost a good poetI would say yes
Is jujamist better? sadly not i confess

It's language, it's a puzzle of words and sounds
and syntax and meaning, adjectives and nouns

This poem is done, my motivation has died
lazy poems are the best, cause i can't say i tried

Moments of Resolve in the Night, Dissolving

Whew!
It's been another long day.
You know, in the grind, plugging away.
A long day of talking, of the internet, of music.
A day long on day but short on work.
Which is what I was supposed to do and should have done.

Oh, it's just a fluke.
Tomorrow, I'll change!
Tomorrow, I'll focus!
Tomorrow, I'll work!

I'll block out my hours.
Wake up before eleven.
Not take a shower.
Work until seven.
I can do it. It's in me to do it.
I'm that guy who did it back then, remember?

Oh, wait. Oh, uh, whoops.
It's seven.
Time to eat.
Time to play.
Time to drink.
I can't possibly work in the remains of the day
Because it's too short to do any good work.

I'll wait until tomorrow.

The lights are off, but I stayed up too late.
I'll sleep in tomorrow
Since I can't be losing sleep over this.
That determination comes over me.
In the dark, I'm all-powerful.
I have the willpower.
I can be strong.
From now on, I'll be different.
I'll do it, just like old times.

I'll block out my hours.
Wake up before eleven.
Hit the snooze button.
And sleep until seven.

Luckily it's too late to do any work today.

This Selfish World

Lets stop denying it.

Lets stop lying to ourselves.

We are selfish creatures. People are, and always have been.

Quite easily 99.5% of people 99.5% of the time are selfish, self-driven, self-obsessed.

Where am I i, how do I look, how much is in my bank account....... we know no other way to view the world.

Where do I sleep, what do I want, how hungry am I, is there some for me?

What will I do tomorrow, what should I say....

So obvious, yet not acknowledged enough.

How can we begin to help strangers if every minute is dedicated to protecting self-interest. Here is a dollar mr. smellsbad, now get away from me.

Who is to blame? NO ONE.

This is sadly us, and there is sadly no changing how humans operate.

But there is deception. Gambling is a perfect example. The house is raking in the dough, but the people keep coming.

Charity casinos?!!!????!!!! NOOOOOOO

But we must trick people to help out of their own self-interest.

This is how the world will change. Not by changing people, but by redirecting them.

academia

learn it! learn it all.
history, art, art history, art history epistemology, history of epistemology, etc

Dominate, master, memorize and retain...
all this info, until someone asks you:

"how was Florence first settled?"
BAM: hit 'em with the knowledge
BAM: you're an expert

jeopardyesque savant, wizard of info, THAT is you =)

And when you have all that info, and when everyone is reading your articles, and as your comprehension is growing deeper and faster and theories are developing and publishers are knocking on your door, and your lectures are in high-demand, and your colleagues are huddling around you and your books are best-sellers....

We want, and we need experts! This is a good thing.

fireworks

dont say that
dont do that
stop that
over here
back up
left, a little more, ok
YES!
stand right there and say THANK YOU!
and really mean it!
Here are the rules: follow the rules , make sure other people follow the rules
And remember: when the rules are broken, someone is taking advantage of us
And also: all 6 billion people are following the rules, so you know it's important

Focus on Sotomayor and Sarah Palin
What is that celebrity doing with pain killers? Check that out
Avril Lavigne is married to another human

There you go, see how much fun the rules are!
Of course it doesn't make sense.

Jujamist Inauguration Day

It was the logical conclusion: the internet
When as the Jujamists we came from all corners of the Earth
From Norway, Finland, Texas, and Cali
Voices, four voices, a movement, a rally.
To indulge in what we'd always known:
The writing together and sharing of poems,
From our hearts to a blog, off the top of our domes.
Like lawn gnomes.

Pink is the new pink

Good work deraj.

My first poem

this kitchen is burning up
sweat sweat
lift my cap
wipe my forehead
man, this kitchen is burning up
