She asked, "Mind if I smoke a cigarette?"
I said with a slightly forlorn grin, "A little.
But I've had a great time. I'm really glad we met!
Does it break Joe Camel's back that I said no?" Her: "A little."
I'm an open-minded guy. I'm ok if you're anything.
But am I ok if it's physical and not purely mental?
With smoking it's the whole 2nd-hand lung cancer thing.
With a smile it's the whole "I'm not attracted. Get dental."
But with thoughts and feelings, it's all good with me.
Had I first practiced prejudice, we'd not have had this affair.
We might even like each other. Is there a future? We'll have to see.
Plus, relationships are compromise, should smoking be one that I bear?
